ML9070 Heavy Duty Commercial Mortise Lock – Classroom
The ML9070 is designed for educational and institutional settings that require high security, durability, and strict control over locking functions. Built to meet the ANSI/BHMA A156.13 Series 1000 Grade 1 standard, it features a heavy gauge plated steel lock case with stainless steel latch, guard bolt, and armored front for maximum strength and resistance to wear.
This Classroom function allows the latch bolt to be operated by a lever from either side at all times. The outside lever can be locked or unlocked by a key from the outside only, preventing unauthorized changes to the lock status from inside the room. The inside lever always allows free egress.
